Utilizing a team approach to deliver exceptional care to the horses of Iowa and service to their owners so they can reach their full potential together.
Caring for horses can be challenging.
It's becoming increasingly difficult to find a dedicated, equine veterinarian in central Iowa that repeatedly provides top-quality healthcare for your equine companions, when and where you need them.
You need a trusted professional to turn to for every surprise and pillar of equine wellness.
With Iowa Equine, you don’t have to do it alone. We are a veterinary team of fellow horse owners, highly trained in equine medicine and dedicated to making both horse and human feel cared for.
Without a dependable equine vet, you end up with:
- No emergency support
- Lack of follow-through
- Subpar care

How do I start working with Iowa Equine?
1. Call to Book an Appointment
Receive a response within 24 hours (+ our phones are always open for returning patients).
2. Meet with a Veterinarian
Treatment begins with a thorough initial exam of the patient from mane to tail. We’ll take the time to get to know you and your horse (and its medical history).
3. Create a Plan of Action
Once your vet determines the best course of action, they’ll suggest special or long-term care. Keep your horse in our barn for long-term care or let us come to you—no matter the care plan, we don’t rest until your horse is back to feeling and performing its best.
